Your prayers are greatly appreciated. Without them
we would never be able to continue to supply you with the materials
necessary to accomplish God’s will in your churches. We also appreciate
any testimonies and pictures that you can send us. It is wonderful to
hear what God is accomplishing through His Word.
All holders of Hands for Christ libraries should
encourage the members of their churches to donate or loan materials that
they may have--books, audio and video tapes, etc.--to the library to
increase its scope and value to the church. If your members continue to
add to the library, they will have access to a wider variety of books and
tapes. It is also very important to keep your library in an orderly
fashion. Some churches put their books in order by subject matter. Some
are requiring their people to read two books a month. Think of the
tremendous impact this would have on your congregation as your people
become renewed in their minds by the Word of God.
Many people have donated generously so that we could
send the libraries to the churches overseas. A number of prisons have donated their unneeded
books to us. Also, ministries such as Focus on the Family, Coral Ridge
Ministries, Morris Cerullo Ministry, Charisma magazine, and Bible Pathways
have sent us their excess.
We have received many, many letters from grateful
pastors in the past year. Here a few samples:
We went through a nine year old rebel war and
everybody is one way or the other traumatized and frustrated, but through
your library, some of the people came back with testimony that after
reading the books, they received a new hope and also there is a new
confidence in God.
